Baku Police: Protest actions restricted during special quarantine regime

"A restriction has been applied on holding gatherings, protests during special quarantine regime, sensitive period of sanitary-hygiene", head of Press Service of Baku city Main Police Department, police major Elshad Hajiyev told APA.

He noted that yesterday and today attempts have been made to hold unauthorized rallies by a group of persons accompanied by the violation of conditions of existing preventive measures, in front of the Ministry of Education: “ Journalists broadcasting these actions, together with the participants, contrary to the rules of the special quarantine regime have created a base for violation of sanitary-epidemiological norms in a sensitive period of COVID-19 infection. So the journalists whose highest purpose is to disseminate the truth, whose professionalism criteria is objectivity have demonstrated indifference to the rules of special quarantine regime. Journalists should avoid the cases accompanied by the violation of conditions of existing preventive measures, social distance in the sake of the effective protection of the health of a population, should follow existing rules by demonstrating citizenship stance.
