Unfortunately, in Azerbaijan there are families that follow sectarian rules, said Haji Abdulla, head of the sector on internal projects at the Knowledge Fund under the President of Azerbaijan.
This is a very dangerous trend, Abdulla said addressing a conference “Islamic Solidarity: Azerbaijan’s Example”, organized by the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations in Baku on Friday, APA reported.
“My relative who is working in a shopping center in Baku says that he always buys goods from them [so-called Wahhabis]. He said that his “brothers” who come from Dagestan and Azerbaijan’s districts also buy goods only from them. This is a very dangerous trend, and measures should be taken to prevent this,” he added.
