Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in his nightly video message said his staff on Monday held a meeting, during which the situation in Bakhmut was talked about, APA reports citing Teletrader.
"In fact, it was Bakhmut that became the main topic for this meeting," the leader clarified, noting the progress Kiev made towards taking full control of the city. "Bakhmut has yielded and is yielding one of the greatest results during this war," he added.
Zelensky also said instructed the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to find appropriate ways to help the soldiers in Bakhmut, emphasizing that there is no part of Ukraine that can be abandoned.
