Head of the European Union (EU) Delegation to Azerbaijan Peter Michalko has met with the journalists, APA reports.
He noted that the EU supports independent and free media.
"Journalists fulfill this duty thorough putting their lives in danger.
Currently, we see the situation of journalists in Russia's baseless war against Ukraine, some of them has lost their lives while fulfilling their duties there," said Peter Michalko
The diplomat noted that the EU representative is interested in cooperation with the Azerbaijani journalists and is open to the media.
"EU implements several projects in order to support journalists and support their development. We will continue to give this support.
You support our work, I am thankful to you for this," said Peter Michalko.
