BP Company of Great Britain has not changed its assessment indicators on proved oil reserves in Azerbaijan, APA-Economics reports citing a statistical review of the company on world energy, published each year.

According to the statistical review, Azerbaijan's proved oil reserves made up 7 bln. barrels or 1 bln tonnes until the end of 2020, which is equal to the indicator for the end of 2019.

Noted that the indicator was 1.2 bln. at the end of 2000.

According to the report, proved oil reserves in the world were 244,4 bln. tonnes or 7 132,4 bln. barrels at end of 2019 (share of Azerbaijan - 0.4%).
