Azerbaijan’s MIA: Rules prescribed for period of quarantine and sanitary regime should be strictly complied with

In order to prevent spread of coronavirus infection, the special sanitary regime has been applied on the country’s territory by the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers from May 1, 2020, the Ministry of Internal Affairs told APA.

For this purpose, in order to ensure people’s compliance with the sanitary rules, the implementation of relevant measures are being continued in the capital city of Baku, as well as in all cities and regions of the country by the MIA staff including military servicemen of the Internal Troops.

Thus, the requirements of the sanitary regime have been explained by police officers to the citizens gathering in front of postal offices, banks, state agencies in the capital city and regions in connection with issuance of material aids< the observation of the social distancing have been required from them. During implementation of such measures, the policemen and the military servicemen of the Internal Troops also distributed medical masks to citizens in the capital city, as well as in regions.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs requires from citizens once again to wear without fail a medical mask protecting respiratory passages when leaving home, being in closed spaces, especially in public catering enterprises, in public transport, especially when being on the territory of Baku Metro whose functioning will be restored on May 9, to observe 2 meters distance when communicating with other people, and in general, to strictly comply with the rules prescribed for the period of the quarantine regime”.
