"Armenians once again showed their hypocrisy and hostility not only to humanity but also to nature by setting fires in our mountainous areas in the direction of Khojaly," said Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Vugar Karimov, APA reports.
The Deputy minister stated that such events are a crime against nature and an act of environmental terrorism.
"Unfortunately, it is impossible to watch these fires caused by the enemy without heartache. The fires are destroying the habitat of extremely rich biological diversity, rare and endangered species of plants, trees, and animal species in the direction of Khojaly. In general, fires set by Armenians inflict great damage to our ecosystem, which confirms their hostile attitude towards humanity and nature," said the deputy minister.
